Got quite far on the train on Tuesday but forgot to update. I do fine the mystery friend very suspicious and I appreciate Marshall taking the threat of a gun serious despite only having Agnes’s word for it

I don’t usually pick up books simultaneously so Anne is technically on pause as we’re on a bit of a deadline to finish this one before my home library fines me whilst I’m not at home. 🤞

It’s not very day you find out your Dad had a whole second family. Anne’s life is just taking hit after hit. We had a lovely Christmas and it’s been downhill ever since poor gal 😪
