It’s not very day you find out your Dad had a whole second family. Anne’s life is just taking hit after hit. We had a lovely Christmas and it’s been downhill ever since poor gal 😪

Does he have a wife? I feel like I missed that piece of information being given about the other Austen. And it’s nice that Anne can be self aware enough to reflect somewhat on her feelings

Absence sure does make the heart grow fonder

We’ve just learnt a lot of things at once I fear. Anne kind off falls into the not like other girls trope I guess as well as what I assume is going to be enemies to lovers. Faking a migraine to get away from an annoying man is kind of funny though. Getting migraines due to emotional turmoil not really and fainting due to a stand off with the kitchens. Not great 😬
