I feel like I've been sucked into a bad end of Book-tok

Alright so I have so much to say about this book but I am going to leave it for my final review. My big thing right now is that I know one of the biggest complaints of this book is that people feel like they are getting whip lash and the story is everywhere. I constantly find myself having to go back and reread and am still confused at times.

I am struggling with this one. I liked the Elfhame series a lot and was excited for this one but Its a very slow process.

You ever read a book and think "man i have read this before, there is no way I haven't heard this before"
yea. that's where I'm at with this one.
