Don’t like the write style. It’s all metaphors and weird flowery language and half the time doesn’t make sense. It’s tedious.

Literally everything that happened was an exact copy of red queen and now it’s turning into rip off hunger games

The theme and overall message of the book is good, however I find to be very cliche. All the characters are stereotypical and one dimensional. The bullying isn’t very realistic. As I said earlier it’s very cliche. Bullying isn’t all slamming people into lockers and sticking their heads in toilets.
At least I’m at a good part where lots is happening.

This book got me out of my reading slump. It’s fast paced, exciting and interesting. The characters are great, I love the relationship between the Chloe, Smith and Rory trio as they all try to figure where Shara went. It’s a kinda book that sucks you in and feels like watching it more than reading it. Also This would be a great TV show

This series is just dragging on. It’s so repetitive and bland. I don’t care about the characters. The first one was good but then it went downhill. Even the last book was very boring. It’s just red vs silver. Making some plan, fighting and Mare whining. The same thing happens over and over again.

Not quite sure what percent or page I’m on because this is an audiobook. It’s boring and slow. They haven’t even gotten to doing anything and there is only like 10 chapters left. They haven’t even went to get the dragonfruit yet. The characters are likeable enough but some of them are a little bland. The concept of the book is good however it could be executed better.

Interesting world building and concept but the pacing is so unbelievably slow. Almost nothing has happened.

Didn’t realize this was the second one lol. It still makes enough sense without the first.
