Really fun so far, even a couple moments where I laughed out loud

Decided to read week 1 chapter a day early because one of my best friends is coming into town tonight so I will be busy tomorrow.

There is a lot here that I am unsure about, but Cameron says that she expects us to be unsure and to stick with it. I will.

My current homework is to do morning pages (3pages of rambling first thing), an artist date (taking the artist in me on a date) and a check in with my progress.

I dudn’t realize this book was structured as a 12 week course. Super hyped. Gonna start week 1 next week if anyone wants to get themselves a copy and do it along with me then read the introduction by next weekend :)

So far I love this memoir. In some ways I find it extremely relatable. Though most of the time I sit in horror at the situations Walter Kim lived through. The prose is great, feels like he is telling you his story at a bar.

Fun. Especially a fan of the pirate story.

So far like nothing I have ever read. McCarthy seems to have found the dimension of inner thoughts and gossip and decided to let us in. A book written of sheer chaos and satire that I can’t help but like it, even if at times I don’t want to.

So far this has been a great read. A lot of fascinating conversations about topics I was not expecting to read. A little over halfway through the Mononoke section but I really just want to read the Howl’s section lol

The first Story Sir Hereward and Mr. Fitz go to war again is a good introduction to the characters. I am looking forward to reading more of their adventures.

To be honest I am surprised I have not been made to read this book before. It is interesting. There is much for me to think about. So far I like it, I like it quite a bit. I think I am beginning to agree with the cultish fandom of this book.

So far this is one of the best books I have read. If you have read huck finn I think it’s a must read. If not I still think its a must read, but maybe read huck finn for some context.
