Forgot to read for a while. I’m back!!

Bc I grew up with my mom being given a terminal diagnosis and constantly in and out of hospitals and, as a result, I flailed a lot and suffered intense mental illness until I got Normal in my twenties … DAMMMMM THIS IS HITTINGGGG lmaaaooo crazy as fuck to read some of my deepest darkest secrets back to me y’all!!!!!!!!

Updating as I read bc I just finished chapter 2 + I wanna remember my thoughts.

Chapter 1 was a total romp, playful and juicy and exciting as it described Eve’s life. I love Eve and have for a long time so it was a great read.

But, I also really love Joan. I just finished chapter 2 and I have to say, I audibly scoffed and furrowed my brows like 5 times. This author is so mean about Joan??? Why write this then??

Finally have time to read again ♡ (I have a final due within the week)

Ok contender for best book I’ve read this year so far

I’m going to love this because I love the intersection of triviality and devastation. I love the horrors of life being something we just have to, idk, deal with. Going to read this slow tho bc it’s heavy and bc I’m like a grad student now or whateva. Wooooooooooo
