I may return to reading my old copy — the 2010 trade paperback version is heavy for reading in bed!

In any event, I’m enjoying again and am reminded why I gave it five Goodreads stars the first time around.

Beginning second read — this time with the 2010 Simon & Schuster trade paperback edition.

Not spending as much time on this as I should -- good stuff.

Very interesting. Already have discovered links to familiar areas in Missouri and, of course, to West Texas. Who could have predicted that living in Lubbock for five years could have provided useful insights all these years later?
