Chapter entitle “From Cradle to Grave” very interesting. Comanches apparently were fatalists and very superstitious. Didn’t sound like hopeful people.

Fascinating details on how the Comanches made vital equipment like bows, arrows, arrowheads, pipes, glue, saddles, you name it. Brains came in handy - - not only for thinking but also for using as ingredients in an endless list of tasks, like tanning, softening, strengthening, and more and more (the brains of animals, not people).
