Currently this book is not exactly why I thought it would be, however being a Sherlock story I know it’s gonna be good!

Finally got round to starting this book; had to return the paper copy to the library - found it in audiobook format instead!

I got a copy of this book from the Simon and Schuster UK mailing list…it’s an interesting start as I’ve never read a Jackie Collins novel before!

I do love a good old murder mystery, and after seeing this one all over TikTok — and spotting it in The Works — I thought, why not give it a try? Day One has been great so far; a really intriguing way to kick things off. For some reason though, I keep picturing a young Miss Marple as Doctor Harker… and now I can’t unsee it!

This is another book I discovered online, and funnily enough the blurb claimed it needed to be opened daily with scissors or a letter opener — but this edition definitely doesn’t! I’m enjoying it so far, but I did think it was a 25-day read… turns out it’s only 12 days!

I picked up this copy from an online advert and… let’s just say the spelling mistakes and editing hiccups are plentiful. Thankfully, I also have a hardback version that I grabbed from Waterstones at YALC this year, so I know the story itself is solid — and I am really enjoying it! I just expected the physical quality of this one to be a little better, paper-wise…
