Okay I did the reread of the first (my book memory is terrible, and the names on this one made it impossible for me to remember) so now I’m ready for this one.

Finally reading a love story for Valentine's Day! Hope this is cute, Ive really enjoyed other Julie Soto books!

I decided to listen to this, and I feel like it’s going a lot better 😂

Okay I actually cannot read this yet. I need to revisit the first book. So confused

The writing is so clever, and feels a bit like a puzzle. Is this a novel? Short stories with a circuitous cast? Very interesting.

This book is too violent for me, and I don’t really wanna finish it- but I need to meet my reading goal lol

Like after 400 pages I’m now only slightly confused…. I really hate the transition from character to character with absolutely no warning or transition. I have to reread whole sections bc I’m now in a different POV. Other than it’s so good.

Why am I bored? 😩

Really enjoying this and starting to see the plot really shape up!

Pacing is fast! Definitely hooked.

Like reading 2 separate books so far, looking forward to when she brings them together.

Robin Sloan wrote the book Sourdough, which was the wierdest book ever that I LOVED. So hoping this one follows suit.

This book is okay. I wish I liked any of the sisters.

I may moonlight occasionally as a lit fic girly, but my heart belongs to fantasy. Why has it taken me sooo long to read this? Her writing is so clever, and her ability to evoke emotion- I’ve teared 3 times with empathy for little Fitz.

I spent the first half very confused, but it’s coming together now.

I’ve never read a western before; but by golly this is a good one. I have a feeling the ending is going to hurt though.
