This is an absolute 5 star read for me. Gut wrenching. Painful. Nauseating at times. Eerily familiar and relatable at (very specific) times as a mother. I can’t in good conscience recommend it to any mothers but I think that mothers are the only ones who will feel the force of it.

So far I absolutely love this book. I really enjoy the combination of somber mysteriousness and the frank but emotional writing style. I’m looking forward to the next 2/3rds.

I was hoping this book would be inspiring but mostly I just feel guilty 🤣
