I wanted to love this book! The premise sounded fun & cool, but I just couldn’t do it.
writing style was dry; it just felt like an ongoing prologue. Usually I give a book 100 pages before I jump ship; this time I barely made it to 50. I took a break thinking I’d read something else and come back with fresh eyes, but instead I just read 4 other books that weren’t this. #bailed
