Kind of a slog so far, the writing style is really dated, with long meandering sentences with about six commas taking up half the page but not saying much. I think I'm getting to the more interesting part of the book now though

Pretty good so far, a little dry at times where it feels like he's just reciting facts about anatomy. A bit lacking in his usual humor, but there are lots of interesting facts. My main takeaway so far is that science knows a lot less about our bodies than I thought!
