The best mashup of HP, The Princess Bride, and the Labyrinth fanfiction I’ve ever read. It’s very dry and the narrative style feels most like The Princess Bride imo. It’s still a decent story that stands on its own merit and has the usual ‘he falls first, touch her die’ tropes. The humor dryness got really repetitive though so I don’t think I’ll finish any of the other books in this series.

Super cheesy but it was an easy way to turn my brain off for the vibes during the Christmas mess clean up. It looks like the author has quite a few similar stories and they might have to be a part of my new cleaning audiobook playlist.

Bruh, this is fucked UP.

I was worried this was be a DNF after seeing so many negative reviews, but I have to admit I'm in love. I don't personally see any of the grooming allegations. Instead I see a true care taker. Albeit a short sighted one, but a true care taker none the less.

I also had to Google some spoilers and I'm so glad I did. There were definitely some hints I'd already picked up on but better than be sure than be disappointed.

A classic, "who did this to you' grumpy/sunshine and I'm in love.

Ugh, when I picked this up I didn't realize that it ended on an unhappy cliffhanger. I don't know I'd have started it if I'd known. And the goodreads cover art doesn't match the copy I have, which is always annoying.

Other than those small details, this is a really cute read so far. Even if I know it'll leave me super sad haha.

It's giving Wattpad and I'm kind of into it. Like, the Wattpad edition of the Hunger Games.

I guess I'm in my Fantasy era.
