I already dislike how the heroine is described with ample breasts, narrow waist and large hips- hourglass figure to me. The author clearly has a thing with the librarians. Why the heroine can’t have different , more exciting career ?

How is cleft in the chin speaking about a sense of humor ???

I’m confused if James or Nathan really is the Hero in this story
I don’t like love triangles with OM who usually is much nicer than the H son I’m wary.

Good. But some things irritate me. The heroine is not quite my cup of tea.
She thought the H too intelligent to read thrillers. Interesting when we learn that the heroine job achievement is working at the library. She also has no brain to understand basic physics.

I have difficulties to se the HEA because of that. And the heroine did seem rather stupid. I was glad that she was a pharmacist but she seems more like a bimbo. I hope the story will evolve.

The book is good but the H needs a psychiatric evaluation.

I find it ludicrous that at the business dinner one would try to insult the potential business partner instead to impress him. Not believable scene just to vindicate the heroine.

The descriptions of the heroine make me take one star away almost from the start.

It has potential but something is missing. The H.wasn’t mean enough, the heroine wasn’t really shy.
The whole thing feels forced. Probably it’s intentional on author’s part. But I don’t feel very invested in the story. The H seemed endearing mostly because of Chewy. He was more rude then mean. The heroine wasn’t that sympathetic, not really wallflower either.

Good until now when the heroine has a treacherous body reaction.

I’m disgusted with the heroine who jumped in bed with the Hero without enough groveling on his part.

Still can’t worm up to the Hero.
I don’t think that telling his pregnant wife about his out of wedlock child was such a brilliant idea on heroine’s part .The heroine trusted that he get the message. The wife was a girl who tormented the heroine in high school . Naive much?

I’m livid. What a piece of art the Hero is. Selfish jerk, never blame yourself or easily excuse yourself. Viscous people including his mother.

I didn’t read the first book. I was put off when I read about the heroine talking about sex with another man.
Then I read that the heroine of course has curves and likes to eat vs the OW who is of course skinny. I’m tired of that formula. I lost my interest.

Not what I was expecting. I wanted angst and OW drama but I don’t really feel it. The story is rather shallow.

I’m very skeptical about the whole makeover. How after the accident and many surgeries the heroine became beautiful and the Hero notice. I can understand that she lost weight but otherwise it seems like big stretch for me. I’m not fond of makeovers in romances.

I really don’t think it was necessary to make the Hero misogynistic pig to make him a jerk. It’s a cheap shot that I found in many books. Big minus points. He can sleep with women but why treat them like trash unless the H has not many brain cells.

Not good. The Hero is overdone, it’s hard to read his crude comments about the women he took to bed.
