Frustratingly disjointed. Very slow to get into and disappointed because I really want to like it. Now that I have finally made it 1/3 of the way into the book it's getting where I can stay reading longer, but still frustrating in they way the author chose to present the story. The historical context is great, the characters are well-enough developed, but grrr... I hate the multi-POV! The story would have been better

Very challenging because there are no chapters! There are no breaks! You have only paragraphs and they run into each other there is no asterisks no anything to have a easy stopping point, nor is there anything to make it easy to have a return point. Basically it just reads as one single long everlasting chapter. This makes it very difficult to set the book down while living life and then trying to return and figure o
