Melissa is on page 126 of 272 of What's It Like to Be Married to Me?: And Other Dangerous Questions
I have really been loving this book. Up until about 50 60%, this was probably one of the best marriage books I read. I think she does a great job of asking women the kind of questions that they need to. And it's just a great job of bringing readers to an important point.

I will say though, her chapter on sexuality in marriage, is borderline blasphemous at times. And she shares a story about forgiveness that's tough

I have been reading this book for months. It's very easy to put down, but also interesting stuff. The next one. Feel like all all utopian, dystopian, fantasy.. they're all the same young girl finds herself in a new world and there's a Love triangle. So there's not really much that exciting. I'm starting to find myself zip over words to just hurry up and figure out what's going to happen

The book is okay. Ironically, he's not able to communicate his thoughts as directly as he should. It's not super interesting. It's not super shocking. And it's hard for me to get past some of his stories. The way he's presenting it, in some stories, is almost like manipulation.

Also, it seems almost like he's encouraging people to use emotion to twist and get people on your side or to like you rather than logic

This book was very good in the beginning, it's tapering a little bit. But I've gotten distracted and haven't picked the book back up. A note a little while. My life has been busy, not the book isn't good

I was reading this for professional reasons and so far it's a mixture of really good advice and viewpoints, but makes the whole bunch of physical exercises. I'm not sure how useful the exercises are, but the advice he gives the points he makes are very correct.

This has been a really important book to read. I did not understand how important it would be to spiritual study to understand marriage, customs, and laws. It really brings to life so many things in the scriptures. I can't believe how much comes back to marriage

I mean I love John stossel, he's someone who's unwilling to just take things at face value. I love that. He will ask questions that some of us don't ask and he's willing to announce his findings whether they're interesting or not. He is so transparent and such a free thinker. I've Loved watching him when I was a kid with my parents and always enjoyed his segments. This is like a walk down memory lane

Melissa is on page 52 of 184 of Amusing Ourselves to Death: Public Discourse in the Age of Show Business
So far the book has not been what I thought it would be. It seems to be more pompous about different medias and how different media forms can affect Society. There are some good points, but he's yet to get to a point of value. The book is very convoluted and a little pompous. I do not enjoy philosophical books that grandstand on vocabulary, and this guy has been one of the worst. He says things longer and harder

Ehh, I'm not really getting into this book plus he is constantly contradicting his point. Don't ignore gout instincts, but they are also totally wrong. We can figure things out with little information, but we are blinded and controlled subconsciously.

I picked this book up just to stay up with my education and branch out of my specialty, but was surprised by it. It has complicated philosophical ideas, but teaches them in long parable. It is the psychology book that finally stops teaching that people don't have control of their emotions and situations.

My teens overheard the book and asked to listen to it as well and have been excited by it.

Oh my gosh, I don't think I'm going to be able to finish this! This book is everything I absolutely hate about writers. It's a jumping around, there's rap sessions going on, they focus on the dumbest details that are unimportant and skim over character development, comment and so much More. I'm reading this for book club. There's no way I'm finishing this there

This book has been absolutely fascinating! One of my professors recommended this years ago and it has not disappointed. Very interesting. Super on topic, author really knows what he's speaking about. I wish more parents would read this, specifically more high schoolers and college age kids. The information in here is very valuable

I'm about halfway through this book and very unimpressed. Not great examples. I feel more like I'm taking a 101 class about anger Rather than actually giving real substance. I'm probably going to give up on it

I am REALLY enjoying this. I have laughed out loud several times and it is interesting. Different than some of the other stuff Brandon Sanderson has written, but still great flare for characters and great lines. I already am excited to read this book aloud as a family.

I'm struggling to finish the book. So far. It's been so depressing. Just watching this woman throw away her life because of what she can't have. She has a loving husband. She has people who are trying to be her friend. Plus it jumps around between reality and fantasy and Don't love how mysterious that has been for so long

A little disappointing so far. I really loved his book refugee, but this one definitely feels more for juveniles. Juveniles. The writing feels more like this is one of his first books. It's easy to pick up. It's easy to put down. Down. It's accurate, but just only okay
