I think a lot of the criticism of this book comes from the way people approach it. They want some end result, clear cut path to being creative and this does not provide that. I also don’t agree with the statement that this book is for non creative people who see creativity as novelty.

I think all these readers are not meeting Rick Rubin on the same level.
