Complete Old English: Teach Yourself
Really good butt in about the fourth chapter he starts referring to a knowledge of German. He starts out in the introduction disavowing that sort of thing.

Anglo-Saxon and Early English Psalter: Now First Printed from Manuscripts in the British Museum, Volume 16 (Old English and English Edition)
It's ungrammatical because the Old English is only gloss I've switched to the Paris Psalter.

I've worked through this already, but am now doing the practice sentences. A standard text, albiet old fashioned method.

Anglo-Saxon and Early English Psalter: Now First Printed from Manuscripts in the British Museum, Volume 16 (Old English and English Edition)
I'm transcribing the Old English glosses in this to publish online some day. The Psalms in OE are DIFFICULT because the scribes added things in putting them down.

A Framework for Understanding Poverty
Really helps you understand kids: it's not race, culture, religion, etc. that affects learning. It's money, or lack of it and what to do about it.
