I LOVE this book so much and my heart goes out to Leah! Hard to believe this is a debut! The writing is spellbinding and Susan Bennett's voice is captivating! Have the e-book and audiobook. Highly recommend the audiobook! Fans of Diane Chamberlain's Necessary Lies and Dolen Perkins-Valdez's Take My Hand (two favorites) will devour THE LAST CAROLINA GIRL.

Thank Goodness, scared me there for a few pages, CLEVER twist at the end! 😛

Always a go-to author and audiobook pick I select each Christmas for the holiday season!

A huge fan of Diane Chamberlain, and have read all her books! The Last House on the Street hooked me from page one and am now at 41% and looked up from my tablet. What a great cast of characters. One of her best and if you loved her Necessary Lies - you will devour this one! Checks all the boxes for me. You must get this on your Jan 2022 list.

I love Elizabeth Strout's writing style! You feel as though you are having a conversation with a best friend or your grandmother, and you want to curl up and spend the day with this extraordinary storyteller. At my age, you reflect on your life and this book resonates. If you have read the other books in the series, you are going to adore catching up with Lucy and William, both past and present.

Wow! This chick is delusional! What a great book. I thought I would read for an hour or so and could not put it down. It is now 3:28 am and not sure I could sleep now if I tried. WHAT A DEBUT! This is an author to follow. I am an auto fan!

If you love Kaira Rouda's (LOVE) narcissistic characters, Victoria Helen Stone's Jane Doe, & Caroline Kepnes' Joe Goldberg, you must read #ThePhotographer 🤩

THE CURRENT reminds me of why I fell in love with this author's writing with his debut Descent. But wait until you read this one! This guy can flat out write. LOVE this book. Getting a few hrs of sleep and cannot wait to get back to it.
