Nynaeve vs Moghedien … DAMN!!! Nynaeve is one true badass!

Faile moved her hands to hold his. “I Zarine Bashere …” That was a surprise; she hated that name. “ … do pledge you my love, Perrin Aybara …” Her hands never trembled at all.

I have a feeling that Rand + the Aiel is going to be the combination that makes this Turning of the Wheel different.

Avienda and Rand … It appears too obvious. Nynaeve, Elayne, and Egwene all too cocky for their own good.

I am really enjoying the growing relationship between Perrin and Faile.

The Seanchan ... I get it, but I still don't like them.

I love following Perrin’s story line. I am beginning to see how a ta’veren is possibly like a wild card that keeps the shadow off balance, and being like an “anti-pattern” to the Wheel that likes to stick to patterns. Rand being not only ta’veren himself and the Dragon Reborn with two ta’veren buddies must be making those who over rely on “patterns” go nuts.

Gaul chuckled softly. "As well try to understand the sun, Perrin. It simply is, and it is not to be understood. You cannot live without it, but it exacts a price. So with women."

Really enjoying this read. Mat and Perrin ... I love it when there are great side characters that are more than just a compliment to the main protagonist. Sometimes rivaling them in interest.
