Spoilers:

I stg these parents are a pair of wet biscuits. Utterly useless. Three kids. THREE. And they’ve managed to lose ever.single.one because they can’t remove their asses from their own sphincters.

I wanted to give Rachel the benefit of the doubt but she’s just straight up awful. She’s a terrible person and I’d love it if someone rocked her right in the jaw.

This whole damn family needs therapy.

Update: I spoke too soon

Spoilers:

I stg Darrow learns nothing. He wants to let everyone go and give them a second chance, and he only ends up getting more friends killed. I haven’t been this physically angry at a main character since Ruth Ware’s book. An absolute moron.

I’m going to go insane with the way they set up this audiobook. The narration style is maddening.

The opening is strange. If I hadn’t looked at the table of contents, I would’ve assumed it was not related to the story. I’m hoping it picks up.

I had a feeling she was going to do that. And I that’s how I know this series is going to UPSET me.

I *think* I have two solid theories on who the culprit may be.

Audiobook: I’m positive I’ve figured out the plot twist. Well… part of it.

I think it’s an interesting story, but it’s struggling to keep my attention. I think at least half of this book is nothing but descriptions of people, places, and smells. It’s starting to lose me.
