i finished this last night and am hitting the re-read immediately

very excited for this!!!!

i am STOKED about this book and how much history i’ve already learned that we simply skipped over - i.e. how the heck did we get from mesopotamia to iraq?? we are taught so much of this for the west but never for this region and i’m excited

a hate-read i am thoroughly entertained by

ugly cried on the plane. i think this should be mandatory reading for all citizens of western countries

i think this is my favorite in the series so far

are any of these characters meant to get interesting

this does not appear to be a book you can read at 10am in a coffee shop in paris after getting off a red eye flight where three children shrieked from 9pm-1am. i will try anyways.
