The story and the main character Rose are just not appealing and I am wondering what age group this was written for. They drop some f bombs and there's a lot of talk about sex and situations yet the characters are clearly not adults and I am hard pressed to feel they are even 17.

So they drove out of Anchorage and I am gonna guess south since she talked about the gas station bakery pizza parlor, that would be in Girdwood, and they also have a trooper post there and a travel agency and serve pretty good food. oh and I did catch a mistake! no Alaskan especially a native (the landlord) would call it a snowmobile! Most say Snowmachine and the rest from the villages call them skidoos. :)

so listening to this one in the car every day. it is an interesting storyline but gotta say it isn't moving along at all. maybe it is supposed to be building suspense? but any moderate reader has already guessed what's going on, what's up with everyone and where this is going. wish it would get there already....
