Falling asleep while in the 20th century in my head.

“One should either be a work of art, or wear a work of art.” Feels true for the actor. The one who embodies a character makes themself art, where the one who fails to exceed the film’s aesthetic concepts is wearing the work of art (the movie, the screen).

I don’t think I can read this book. I’m on page 36 and the location hasn’t moved and I don’t feel like I’ve gotten more than two steps forward. I somewhat care about Gen and Hosukasa. I’ll keep this book until I need to return it to the library and will pick it up in a week or two to see if it grows. :’(
