This is the best novel I’ve read in quite some time. Hopefully this level of quality persists in the second half.

The characters are amazing and the sense of place is flawless. So happy Stephen Graham-Jones mentioned this book in his acknowledgments at the end of the Buffalo Hunter Hunter. On track to be a 5 star read.

So far a nice blend of police mystery with a dash of folk horror set in the UK peaks district

This is so good! It is shaping up to eclipse “The Only Good Indians” as my favorite from Stephen Graham Jones.

This is a fascinating read so far. The author uses TB as a common thread to stitch together an engaging relatable story about this deadly communicable disease through history, geopolitics and sociology.
