This is a fascinating read so far. The author uses TB as a common thread to stitch together an engaging relatable story about this deadly communicable disease through history, geopolitics and sociology.

Douglas Lazorick is 70% done with My Soul to Keep (African Immortals, #1)

There are elements of this I do like, but so far it feels kind of predictable. The actions of one of the main protagonists feels a bit hollow to me. Apparently this is the first book in a series… while I’ll finish the book at this point I can’t see myself continuing the series.
