I enjoyed the 4th story well enough. Five looks to be a long one.

It's growing on me. I've just finished the third story, which was pretty good, I certainly enjoyed the character telling it best so far. In my opinion, the first story was a bit "out there" and nearly put me off.

I'm trying to treat this book now as a series of short stories, which is helping, though it also makes me nervous about how I'll enjoy the next of said stories.

The Adventure of the Missing Three-Quarter was pleasant enough, but The Adventure of the Abbey Grange quite simply brought me to tears, an excellent story.

The Adventure of the Golden Pince-Nez.

Another pleasant story that I once again failed to solve before the exposition.

I'm always fond of the stories that contradict the common portrayal of Sherlock as unpleasant. He's shown to be quite affable throughout this adventure, easily setting the maid at her ease, more like David Suchet's Hercule Poirot than Benedict Cumberbatch's Sherlock Holmes.

I've finished Part One: The Beginning, detailing The Third Order. I enjoyed it. I particularly enjoyed Hermes.

I've just finished Hounds of the Baskerville. I didn't enjoy it as much. I prefer the short stories as they're, by necessity, pithier. Plus it doesn't help that it's probably the worst episode of Sherlock.

I was also rather disappointed that the first story following The Final Problem was set before Holmes' demise. I was excited to see him brought back.

While I did start this books last year, I don't recall how far through I got so decided to start from the beginning.

I've now reached the end of the second order with Chronos dethroned and Zeus large and in charge.

I went back and listened to The Adventures of the Crooked Man, the Resident Patient and the Greek Interpreter as I couldn't recall them. Now on to The Final Problem

I've just finished The Adventure of the Naval Treaty.
It was a nice little story.

So far very enjoyable. A very good job of establishing characters and false starts to trick me into guessing the story's direction and Peter Joyce's narration is excellent, as always.
