back on my self-help phase cuz i am LOST 💔 althoughhh i'm just a few pages in and this book seems to be helping. so, i guess my hypothesis is right --> books truly are my greatest friends (despite how much of my time they take up).

I haven't felt this way about a book in so long. The constant shifts in my mood—from intrigue and entrancement to heartbreak and sympathy. I feel a sense of affinity with the Lisbon sisters, a bond I'm not really comfortable with publicly expressing.

The Virgin Suicides is such a phenomenal novel and I am certain this will be my favorite read of the year.
