Not as good as the first one but still packed with fun ideas.

This book frustrates the hell out of me. I never understand what Claire wants or why.

The first Sriduangkaew I've gotten a little bored with half way through. Doesn't have the urgency most of her other books do.

So good! Art you won’t see anywhere else. Great story about cool characters. Nice use of telling a story out of sequence.

Maybe my fifth time reading Dune. This time, at age 45, I certainly thought more about how Paul's parents, the Barron and the Emperor felt about what was happening on Dune. The Barron Harkonen has a lot more subtlety to his character than I remembered. I remember it being a longer book but it read really fast this time especially once Paul gain's his precognition. Really turns into a thrill ride after that.
