OMG! Abby is incredibly stupid and her husband is a horrible person! I just want to be done. Not sure I would ever read or listen to another book by this author. Awful! ...but I will finish because I want to see what happens😬☹😖😱

For someone who has such a distinguished career,, Abby acts unintelligent in her relationship with Monica. She wants to have a child via Monica as her surrogate. She absolutely trusts Monica. The character, Abby, acts like she has no common sense. She ignores red flags because she is so desperate for a child. I want to slap her. Poor Sam gets suckered in by her tears and desperation.
