So...I must be crazy. I decided to read a few classics. I started with Virginia Woolf, Mrs Dalloway. What a messy book! I believe the prose is meant to mirror the messiness of the mind. It feels as though the book is one long stream of thoughts jumping from character to character. My impression is that the main character did what was expected of her to marry well and have a child, but it seems it is not enough.
