Yeah, I'd treat this one as a classic.

I dislike reading through a child's perspective, but I have to commend Collins for his style. Mike Jr. reads like a poet, all grown up, revisiting his memories of the Angel of Death, his dad.

Now that I am older, I fully understand what led to that unforgettable night, and like Mike Sr., I, too, have that sombre, sorrowful expression on my face...

Lately, I'm feeling that bit of nostalgia. I watched the movie when I was a lad and was always impressed by the father-son relationship. Let's see how it translates in book format.

Give me any other type of horror. Read me Cthulhu, The Troop, or The Exorcist, and I'll sleep like a baby. But Sanctuary is a different kind of horror, for it shows the level of depravity one may stoop to, and I can't believe we can stoop to such a low bar in life.
