This is such a different experience this time around. I’m enjoying the heck out of the audio!

I’m revisiting this story after originally reading in 2014 and leaving a 2 star review with no context about what didn’t work for me. One this read, I’m enjoying myself.

I never know what to expect from a new Kraus story but they never disappoint.

I appreciate the use of “testicularly” and “hemorrhoidal”

This book is WILD.

This collection is fantastic! Neugebauer has this was of building so much dread while her characters are doing everyday things. There’s a slippery ambiguity in her stories that has me in its grips.

If she writes it, I will read it.

Highly recommend!

Neugebauer’s writing is slippery and so, so good!
