"The Road to Wannsee" Chapter start.
A long, detailed, harrowing read that can't be done in big chunks.

Amelia is on page 129 of 394 of Rule, Nostalgia
Up to the segment called "Your Britain - Fight for it now!" in the "End of the Garden Party" chapter.
Would have gotten much further along in the last 48 hours had it not been due back today I suspect - my brain didn't want to get into it when I started it so late in its rental period!

I genuinely hope Hannah Rose Woods has good security, because BOY is she going to upset some people.
Loving it.

At Chapter 8: The Seige.
A really good book, but my brain has not been in a reading-friendly place, and there is a list of 55 other people waiting on this at the library.

Gutted to have to return this to the library, its an AWESOME book, but I got distracted by stuff on my kindle while on holiday and ran out of time.

So, white face paint has gone from being for peace (in the last book) to for vengeance (early in this book) and back to being for peace??
I'm confused.

Not 10 pages ago, Brianna was with Jamie when she met Rachel and gave Jenny a hug.
Now Rachel is surprised by how much Brianna looks like Jamie, and wonders how Jenny will react when she finds out the family is here?
Who proof-read this?!?

Absolutely slamming the interpretations of Paul in the modern church.
Had to return to the library, and have so many other things to read at the moment, so will come back to later.

Amelia is 80% done with Harry Potter and the Lack of Lamb Sauce
Genuinely enjoying the alternative perspectives on what was happening in the time between the Golden trio leaving Hogwarts and the Battle of Hogwarts. Huge cast, but having read Diana Gabaldon books, that's no issue :)

Returning to the library as I am out of time. Took me sadly too long to get into, as its a really interesting read. Some seriously harrowing stories.

Why do I always struggle so much with parenting books, even when they're super relevant and actually quite easy to read?

Pondering how much of a reference book you need to have read before you can claim it as read...
Given the piles I currently have for the history assignment due next week.

Finally re-requested from the library! This one got temporarily forgotten about as it went into the vanishing space of unavailable books from the central library collection after it closed.

Amelia is on page 274 of 496 of Queens of the Crusades (England's Medieval Queens, #2)
Ran out of time to finish before its due back at the library - as a new book, I couldn't renew it. Only 130 pages of actual reading to go, so this will be a reasonably quick finish when I get around to ordering it back again later in the year.

Gutted at a year + without my main library, but having 6 hours notice of the closure meant I was able to get in and load myself up with 12 books I've had on my to-read list for a while. Lets see how long that lasts me!
