Brilliant short stories by a very big name in writing and they’re way more fun, diverse, and exciting than I expected. It sells for $45 typically but I paid a penny a page at a club event at Books A Million so my physical copy cost $5.95 bucks and it feels great in my hands as well as in my mind.

I’m waiting for the thrilling part of this thriller to thrill me but so far not much thrill.

I’m liking this but I’m a vinyl fan who loved The Big Lebowski so I’m the target audience.

Quite a good read. I’m digging it.

It’s lyrical and wise. I’m loving the vintage womanly perspective. I’ve read a Science Fiction book titled Artemis and that was written from a woman’s perspective by a man. There’s a huge difference between that narrator and the one in Ahab’s Wife. Cool stuff.

I really like it. It blends facts with personal stories and is a really fun read.

The background to the first Godzilla movie keeps getting more and more fascinating the more I read about it.

Not bad. I dislike that quotation marks and commas aren’t used at all to distinguish what is spoken and what is narration. Though it could be a quirk of large print books I suppose; this being the first I’ve read in that format.

Cyberspace is best experienced on a treadmill in the early morning.

I lost interest in it. Mr. Man will just have to live with that.
