when i read the book first time back in 2017 i was like yeah i don't really care about julian he is not that reckless and witty like jace or fun like simon but reading now with a fully developed brain, julian is just so much more mature than any characters in the series and now i really really like him

emma and jules are definition of yearning, nothing compares to that

since starting this book i took 3 times a nap (in total like 2 hours) and only read a few chapters, maybe it's the book but maybe it's the worst heat wave i've witnessed since being an adult

like juliette 10 years ago was disgustingly empathetic towards anyone, she wanted to save everyone and correct all the wrongs of the reestablishment regime and then there is rosabelle which is basically a combination of her and warner and she is not saying anything ???? idk it feels very out of character

i didn't like juliette in the original series at all, but making her not give any opinions about the problems they have is crazy, she is the og delulu unhinged she would taken james side in a second like wtf

the start was kinda slow but nevertheless very interesting !!!! however it's more for the fans of ruthless rows than divine rivals (i loved divine rivals), more focused on gods, which i am not that much of a fan

interesting but can't stay focused on reading too long these days

love this one more than her other series, both mc are much more likeable
