This is one of the oddest books I’ve ever read, but I think I love it.

Oy. Only a few minutes in this audiobook and I’m regretting not getting the print book. The narrator is getting on my nerves. She sounds like those informative videos we watched in elementary school in the 1980’s.

I’d love to watch a movie based on this book.

I didn't realize it was romance week. LOL, a good time to pick up my first romance novel in YEARS.

Why have I resisted reading this book for so long?!?! Who would've thought that I would just fall in love with a book about a grumpy old widower trying in vain to commit suicide???

I’m having to put this down and give myself a breather every so often. Not because it isn’t good - but injustice of any kind is hard for me to take in large doses. Yes, I’m a delicate flower. That said, I keep coming back to it 😋

Ay ay ay .... If it weren’t a book club pick, I’d have already put this down. I’m hoping - without much optimism - that this gets better.
