Really missed her writing and how she makes us care for the characters!

This is so beautifully written and painful to read

This is a beautiful, beautiful book.

"The land, Kie," she said. "We work too hard on this land to run. Some of us, we believe the land will one day be free. I been eating off this land my whole life."

She tells him about men who can't take no for an answer and other men who allow that sort of thing to happen.

"For nine / cloistered months / Mother / was the world / I ate." This is stunning.

"O!, Armpit Hairs. / Even lying beside a militant feminist, I / recruited your absence to help me play woman." Loving this so far. Choi's language is unashamedly and brutally honest.

This book just keeps breaking my heart over and over again.

My heart is broken.

This is just the book I needed right now. It's just a story about two people rekindling a college romance, nothing else. Simple. Clean. I love the alternating past and present chapters, and Graves does a great job of portraying the challenges of having a mental illness, and having to work hard to understand things that "normal" people get effortlessly.

My ARC is finally here, thank you Goodreads and St. Martins Press!! So excited to read this.

I am loving this. The writing is unique and honest.

There is too much description of the houses and food of these rich people. Also a lot of describing huge family trees no one cares about. Where is the story?

For someone who has such an elaborate plan of going undercover in Mexico and killing the people who hurt her, Izabel is really stupid to have braided her pills in her hair. What did she think?

This book feels like a repeat of Seeds of Iniquity with all the secret revealing. And by now you are just dragging out the moment Victor, decide what you want to do and do it.

Isabel is disappointing in this book. She is new to this but she wants to keep proving to Victor than she is at his and Niklas' level when she is nowhere near it. Also, she is very insecure and has no self-control when it comes to Nora. So annoying.

This series is crazy! So twisted but I love it
