I can’t help but compare & contrast the book with its film adaptation which I love. So when I’m done reading, I will decide which one is better for my taste. So far the film is winning.

Managed to drag myself until Chapter 3…the narrative is too much, without quality. I could easily edit out many parts…

I’m ditching this one.

Not going great. Might quit reading at any moment. Holding onto some comments saying that it changes the tone (is this a children's book or young adult?) about in the middle into a different, dark one. I hope it does. Or am I wasting my time and patience here...?

On the verge of quitting “Klara and the Sun”. I’m having doubts if the book will be worth reading in the end… Not like “Unconsoled” at all.

I'm almost finished and only now have I realized that this book is actually not e-book/kindle friendly because it is a whole different experience with the hard copy. The book is so expensive that I had to read the e-book version. Now I understand why I had such difficulty with the design.

So if you're planning to read it, do not do the same mistake. Read the hard copy.
