So, now I can say for sure, it is not a trashy novel but a masterpiece. There are some resemblances between this novel and Perfume. Both character can see a beauty that is unseen for others. However, while other people can use this unseen beauty, these two heroes can't have it or use it. So, the only option is to steal it. In the case of Perfume it is smell, and in this book, it is innovation and imagination.

So funny:
"An amused Golestan stood by and looked on. When he attended the film's last scheduled screening, a film critic told him he had seen the film fifty times. Yet this did not prevent him from panning the film in his review a week later as the "stupidest" film he had ever seen. Golestan told the critic that he found it even stupider to spend all that money and time watching a stupid film."

So far so good. Plain writing with a very predictable but interesting story. It moves between being a trashy novel and a perfect one.
