This was my attempt to see if this author would work for me as I have enjoyed a paranormal romance back in the day. I realized that pop culture references and heavily modern influences in a writing style are not for me. I didn't enjoy the banter between the love interests. It felt forced.
The MC's name is Misery but I was in misery reading this shlock.
