Wow!

Vernon just keeps reading this one, so I figured it was my turn to read it.
The poetry of it feels forced sometimes, it’s not my favorite, but it’s a good adaptation so far and the illustrations are really fun.

I have been so curious to read this in context with How to Think since I finished her memoir Uncultured. It’s already very interesting.

Really enjoying this one so far.

It is hard for me to read books that read a little at a time, so I’ve been away from this one for a while.
The chapter I just read, about time and death, and life and resurrection, was so timely for me. I enjoyed it immensely!

There must be a lot more Finnish mythology in Skyrim than I originally thought because the scenes and monsters and characters in this story are so easy to picture!! I actually love it. I don’t know that I care that much about the characters but the environment is really fun and I’m very ready for cooler weather and Skyrim family time! This’ll work until then.

The illustration style in this graphic novel is similar to the cartoons the kids’ friends all watch, so I was curious if this would be a graphic novel they’d reach for and what I thought of it.
It’s interesting. Definitely not my favorite, but not terrible.
