The battle is getting ugly for the Varden and they have no idea of what Eragon is facing inside with Galbatorix and his many surprises. Doesn't look like the Varden is going to be able to stand this for much longer. Eragon needs to find a way to defeat Galbatorix or someone needs to stop Lord Barst in order to get a chance to win.

Well Eragon and Arya have gotten themselves in a bit of a jam...how will they escape?

Things are heating up for battle. Hopefully aeragon and Saphira are ready for what lies ahead.

Just in the beginning part of the book. So far, I have just been getting the summary of what has happen so far in the previous 3 books.

Interesting how it's written so far. It's actually kind of comical amidst the situation Mark is in. He is figuring out how to survive and hopes he can keep himself alive long enough to hopefully get rescued. He (Mark) has his technical way of speaking but also humorous ways of dealing.

So far a little slow and wordy. Nick is a artsy guy who likes a lot of words and sometimes I get lost in his words and don't get the point. Sassa seems to get his way of speech and calks him out on it. They are getting to know each other and Nick seems more invested and is contemplating opening up to Sassa. Lets see how it goes.

Justin might have figured out a clue to the murders but still cant help but want to figure Mae out. Wonder if his distractions will prevent him from being focused on the investigation.

Justin and Mae are investigating the case but run into a little snag. Mae is increasing her fondness of Justin as he tells her honestly why he is how he is. Justin fears he will allow himself to be in love with Mae and whatever deal he made (with the ravens master) will ruin his life. But he has figured that he is not the only one with demons inside. This may be why he is falling for Mae too.

The war continues and Eragon and Saphira's masters are out of hiding. With Eragon knowing the story of his parents, will this motivate him further to defeat Galbartorix? It's been a long story and a little bit slow at this point, but it now seems to be picking up.

Wrath is super stressed and uneasy of the way his life is at the moment. Trying to live up to expectations as king and husband with a bullseye painted on his back makes life rough. Figuring out what the "band of bastards" will do next is agonizing.
