This is a slow go which I wasn’t expecting for a standalone. It does feel like it’s starting to drag. I’m intrigued by the concept and want to keep reading but I feel like we’ve made no progress. I don’t understand anyone’s motivation or even who they are. I haven’t gotten to know Puck or Sean really. I just would like to pick up the pace a bit here.

I do find that this is slow and mildly boring, but I’m intrigued enough to keep pressing. Tandem reading audio book and physical book. There’s a lot of intrigue and mystery to this that’s keeping me going as the chapters seem to feel longer and longer and more dull.

I want to see Eira’s arc instead of becoming the hero she becomes the villain that everyone told her she would be. From years of being told she’s crazy and countless deaths on her hands I just wanna see this girl lose it and all her friends leave her. But she keeps Olivin and Cullen both obviously.

The world’s most useless and unnecessary love triangle that I don’t GAF about at all COMING FROM THE ONLY READER THAT LOVES THE LOVE TRIANGLE TROPE. Elise Kova what are you doin
