Man my brain just can’t do books lately. This is fantastic but my head isn’t cooperating.

I swear I’m really enjoying this but because I OWN it & all my library holds are coming available & I’ve had access to limited time free listens… my poor Grady keeps getting tucked to the side. But I am enjoying it!

Classic “so little time, so many books” problems.

Thanks to a lack of library funding I no longer have access to this title & I’ll have to finish it later. I only got 14% in 😭

I wish GR was more social. I feel like it used to be. But we all just log the books now rather than chat about them. Groups exist, sure, but most of the ones I’ve been in for decades are long buried with cobwebbed headstones.

I wish I was enjoying this more. Tempted to DNF but I always feel bad doing that if the book isn’t awful. This just isn’t holding *my* interest the way I’d hoped. Maybe I’ve read way too many similar things lately and maybe I’m sick of books where women are demeaned repeatedly.

Yes, I’m currently reading two books with “weyward/wayward” in the title.

I didn’t realize how much this would make me uncomfy. I was so excited about the Agatha Christie disappearance that I didn’t think about the book being so heavily focused on heartbreak & infidelity (should have). Just puts me in the sads

I have so many books in my immediate TBR & can’t keep up if I start any more before I finish these. But omg I am DYING to read The Buffalo Hunter Hunter (Stephen Graham Jones - love him so hard) & Sunrise on the Reaping like the Hunger Games ^Hore that I am. They are sitting there, just waiting on me. Mmmmm…

This book is so freaking cozy & cute & it’s making me hungry as hell.

Why is choosing the next book from my TBR list always a daunting task? It takes me so long to decide. I’m rarely like “I know my next book will be X”, unless there’s a release I’ve been waiting for (or an ARC I need to finish before the street date).

I love Amanda, I’ve been a fan of her podcast for years, & I’m finally getting around to reading this. But like… the constant “more on that later” and “discussed later in this book” back and forth on topics is driving me slightly crazy.
