I wish I was enjoying this more. Tempted to DNF but I always feel bad doing that if the book isn’t awful. This just isn’t holding *my* interest the way I’d hoped. Maybe I’ve read way too many similar things lately and maybe I’m sick of books where women are demeaned repeatedly.

I didn’t realize how much this would make me uncomfy. I was so excited about the Agatha Christie disappearance that I didn’t think about the book being so heavily focused on heartbreak & infidelity (should have). Just puts me in the sads

Also- I just don’t enjoy infidelity plot lines. They make me feel icky. I knew that before picking this up but it’s also a fictionalized version of an event that fascinates me so… I tried. Am trying? Sure.
