The first 170 pages were decent - liked the premise and the characters. But something shifted with the ‘Fourth’ and ‘Fifth’ ‘November 9th’. I’ve found myself questioning everything about the plot choices, with multiple wtf moments. I’m not sure if I’m even still rooting for these characters at this point and how this could possibly be turned around now.

The miscommunication trope in this book is just not doing it for me. Otherwise I was loving the book but this is getting a little annoying …
