I do consider myself a snack but for Katniss it actually works better 😂 What beautiful words from her dad 🥹

I feel like each chapter or so she remembers sth from District 12 and it’s so beautiful how the author weaves it into the story.

She doesn’t trust Peeta at the end but who can blame her? He plays his role very well!

The urgency in Katniss’s voice as she pleads to her mom not to fall into a depression… damn I’m feeling it! “It’s an illness we can’t afford” this sounds so sadly true.
I love love LOVE that she explained the origin of the mockingjays (= mockingbird + jabberjays) and how the fact that a bird can mimic a melody, even a complicated one… I’m in awe!
Haymitch is being Haymitch as always 😂
