Enjoying the bluntness that this is a genre done before, a sort of "breaking the 4th-wall moment". Still wrapping my head around the world but am intrigued by our new mystery character!

Even after I read the summary I am still a little confused. Enjoying Kyzari's POV more! It is starting out better than how WTMH ended.

Loved the prologue, interesting bit about her being a thief, not vibing with writing as much as I wanted to. Can't wait till they stop mentioning at every other page that they hate each other's kind with a burning passion.

I am at a point of confusion right now with the plot of this book. I like the vibes and am only just starting to get a sense of interest. Also tell me why the cousins have more chemistry than the FMC and MMC.

Really liking Circe with more knowledge and wisdom, and also her conversation with her sister showing the role of being a women in society. How a woman's role in society is demoted to being merely cattle, tamed and domesticated for the master's bidding or entertainment and satisfaction.
