I still do not really care for the main MCs, and I am now questioning the romance even more if it is just lust because of the bond or genuine care. Still pushing through!

Loved the prologue, interesting bit about her being a thief, not vibing with writing as much as I wanted to. Can't wait till they stop mentioning at every other page that they hate each other's kind with a burning passion.

I am at a point of confusion right now with the plot of this book. I like the vibes and am only just starting to get a sense of interest. Also tell me why the cousins have more chemistry than the FMC and MMC.

Really liking Circe with more knowledge and wisdom, and also her conversation with her sister showing the role of being a women in society. How a woman's role in society is demoted to being merely cattle, tamed and domesticated for the master's bidding or entertainment and satisfaction.

Really enjoying the gothic undertones, it's interesting the roles that the cousins play as the heiress versus the hidden scholar.

I have thoughts. And all of them are good intellectual one's, but make you realize being a women sometimes sucks kind of thoughts.
