Wow this is painful. It’s shocking to me how much she sounds like modern far-right conservatives. “Anyone who disagrees with me is a fanatic! Slavery is only natural! Sure, the European slave trade was evil, but America keeping those slaves is fine! God never explicitly said it was a bad thing! Americans rebelling against the British was righteous, but Africans wanting freedom goes against God!” Kill me.

Figured this would be an interesting follow up to Uncle Tom’s Cabin. Let’s see the difference 170 years makes.
